• Established BRIngin Remittance Company Ltd. in Hong Kong, operating as a wholly-owned subsidiary of PT. AJ BRIngin Jiwa Sejahtera (a subsidiary of PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk).

2012

• PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk acquired full ownership of BRIngin Remittance Company Ltd., making it a wholly-owned subsidiary of BRI.
• Officially renamed the company to BRI Remittance Company Ltd.

2022

• Transformed the business model to focus on digitalized remittance and expanded services to include forex and money exchange.

2023

• Expanded business operations by acquiring a Money Lender License under the Hong Kong regulations.
• Rebranded to BRI Global Financial Services Co. Ltd. to reflect our growing portfolio of comprehensive financial services.

2024

• Launched the remit.go! app, empowering customers to perform instant, digital remittance transactions.
• Nominated for the Rising Star Award - Subsidiary Company BRI Group.

2025

• Expanded remit.go! capabilities to include Indonesian e-wallet top ups, bill payments with BPJS TK and Dompet Dhuafa Hong Kong.
• Recognized as "Team of The Year" at the Asia Fintech Awards 2025.

• Today, BRI Global Financial is a licensed Money Service Operator (regulated by the Hong Kong Customs & Excise Department) and a licensed Money Lender (regulated by the Police Department and Companies Registry).
• We specialise in secure and efficient remittance services and lending facilities primarily serving Indonesians abroad in Hong Kong.
• We proudly operate four branches across Hong Kong: Causeway Bay (Main Branch), Yuen Long, Tsuen Wan, and Mong Kok.
• Through our remit.go! mobile app, we continue to provide seamless, on-the-go digital transactions, and we are currently in development to provide even more solution-driven features for users.
